The CPU Card

Each system can hold 2 CPU cards.  As you can see, 3 Pentium Pro CPUs can be attached to each card.  LEDs are built into the top of the card to show processor activity.  The three slots on the left side hold the VRMs.  These modules supply power to the CPUs.  Also if you are going to start with less than 4 processors you are going to want to get the terminator slot for the second processor bank.

In our tests, we have found that one CPU will boot the machine, as well as one CPU card in the machine.  We didn't run it for a great deal of time that way, but had no problems while in that configuration.   Also, the populated CPU card can be in either slot.  The machine just finds the CPU.
